At FBCnl we value families.
Our desire is to do more than just childcare...
we want to partner with parents as they seek
to disciple their children to become followers of Christ.

We believe that God longs for every child to have a
repeated opportunity to hear and see the Gospel and
to respond to it.  We want to help kids love Jesus,
represent Jesus and to live with the gospel
at the center of their lives.

(newborn through kindergarten)

Preschoolers are loved and well cared for each week at FBCnl.

Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on one of three simple truths:

God Made Me

God Loves Me

Jesus Wants to be My Friend Forever

Through age appropriate activities, music, stories and games we are building a foundation
that will support their continued growth to becoming followers of Christ.

// NURSERY // Sundays, 8:15, 9:30 and 10:45 am
Our nursery is staffed with trained volunteers for newborns through two year olds.

// CLUBHOUSE //  Sundays, 9:30 am

Preschoolers break into age-appropraite groups where they will
be exposed to Biblical truths and stories from caring and consistent adults.

// CLUBHOUSE WORSHIP // Sundays, 8:15 and 10:45 am

Preschoolers participate in a hands-on worship environment
designed just for them.  This worship experience includes music,
crafts, videos and a caring and consistent adults.

Each week our elementary-age friends are exposed to gospel truth in a variety of programs.  Our aim is to partner with families so that kids can have a new understanding of how to grow in a relationship with Jesus.

By the time our students reach sixth grade we
want them to be confident
in four faith skills...

// HEAR // How to LISTEN God's Words when they read the Bible.

God has a lot to say through His Word and through
His word we can learn to trust Him no matter what.

// PRAY //  How to DIALOGUE with God.

Through prayer we connect with God.
We show gratitude, say we're sorry and express our feelings to God.

// TALK //  How to ARTICULATE their faith.

When we talk about our faith,
we learn more about God and can tell others about Jesus.

// LIVE//  How to WORSHIP with their life.

Worshipping God is more than just singing songs.
Worship is about living life in a way that honors God and points others to Him.

These faith skills, as well as our entire program is centered around Luke 2:52.
In this passage, Jesus modeled three basic, but powerful, truths...

I need to take the wise choice.

I can trust God no matter what.

I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

// EARLY WORSHIP // Sundays, 8:15 am

Kids are served a pancake breakfast, are told a story and then invited to participate in activities that help reinforce the main point of the story.

// ELEVATE // Sundays, 9:30 am

Kids break into age-appropriate Groups where they learn Bible truths,

stories and hone some of their faith skills such as Bible navigation.

// SURGE // Sundays, 10:45 am

Surge is a combination of large group and small group time during our Worship services.  Kids are invited to worship through music, creative storytelling, offering and more in a large group.  Then, they are able to spend time in small groups learning how to apply the Biblical principle introduced to their lives.

[5th & 6th Graders: Our 5th & 6th graders get the opportunity to worship in our auditorium with our students and adults.  Every other week, prior to the message, they are dismissed to participate in a small group.]
